“Heroes”

We all have them in some shape or form

Today on the anniversary of his death

Remembering “Johnny Cash”

Along with “Waylon Jennings”

They recorded an album titled “Heroes”

On the front cover, both men dressed in western attire

The back cover sees both men joined by none other than “Lash La Rue”

The album – recorded at Moman’s recording studio

“Nashville, Tennessee, USA”

With a host of wonderful engineers and musicians was

Mastered by Denny Purcell at Georgetown Masters Nashville Tennessee

This was back in 1986.

I mentioned on the back cover the three gentlemen

Johnny and Waylon were standing with their backs to camera

(Photography – Kal Roberts)

While facing the camera with whip in hand Lash La Rue

All this brings me to the point of this piece in celebrating their life

And leaving you with this – signed by Lash La Rue

“I Know Some Day We Will See

A World At Peace In Tranquility

When Men Will find The Time Again

To Voice A Praise To God – And Then

Man’s Right For Life And Liberty

Will Never Cease

And The Whole World Will Enjoy

An Everlasting Peace”
