Yesterday the mood was quite subdued
He had no time for prose or rhyme
Well that is not quite true, just, he did not think things through
On some days of writing he finds it difficult to buy a phrase
This can be a good thing for he could never be a “Synge”
One thing he taught himself through the years, never allow insecurity end in tears
Of course everyday there is a source
Which can point him in the right direction, not everyday will he find perfection
Then there are those days given the time, he’ll write a poem of sorts in double rhyme.
Poetry from The ManShed (c) The author
11/10/19
A double rhyme
can be hard to find
there’s none in Ivor’s mind
This poet will have to resign

Thanks Ivor. Do not labour on that thought, write as is your want not because you aught.
